RISING OF THE LARK [3] (Codiad yr Hedydd). Welsh, Air (2/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune can also be found in the mid-19th century music manuscripts of William Winter (1774-1861), a shoemaker and violin player who lived in West Bagborough in Somerset, southwest England, Robert Hughes (Whitchurch, Shropshire, 1823) and flute player William Killey (Jurby, Isle of Man).
