PRESTON'S REEL (Ríl Phreastúin). AKA and see "Michael Preston's," "Fred Finn's (2)," "Fred Finn's No. 2," "Mike Preston's Reel," "Peter Horan's." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. Montreal fiddler Isidore Soucy (1899-1963) used a version of "Preston's Reel" as the first tune in a medley called "Gigue irlandaises (2)," recorded in 1925.
