PADDY NEARY’S HORNPIPE. Scottish, Hornpipe. A composition of biography:Angus Fitchet [1], born in Dundee in 1910 and a leading country dance band leader and fiddler during the mid-20th century in Scotland. He began his recording career in 1931 for the Beltona label, and died in 1998. The tune honors an Irish accordion player, Paddy Neary [2].
