MUD ON THE WHEEL. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Arizona. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. From the repertoire of Arizona fiddler Viola “Mom” Ruth (1892-1979). Viola was a dance fiddler and a teacher of folk dance and square dances. She also promoted dances and was an enthusiastic contest fiddler.
