JUSTICE GUTTLE. English, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The music also appears in the 1786 commonplace book of American flute player Henry Beck. Justice Guttle was a gluttonous character from the British farce The Lying Vallet, by actor and producer David Garrick, who staged it in 1740 at London's Drury Lane.
