ENNERDALE BRIDGE. English, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was entered into the 1840 music manuscript collection of John Rook, a multi-instrumentalist from Wigton, Cumbria. Ennerdale Bridge is a village in Cumbria at the confluence of Croasdale Beck and the River Ehen. The Lake District National Park uses both watercourses as its boundary.
