Composed in 1927 by Aberdeenshire fiddler J. Murdoch Henderson (1902-1972) in memory of the talented but tragic fiddler-composer biography:Peter Milne [1] (1824-1908), "The Tarland Minstrel," one of J. Scott Skinner’s mentors and playing partners.
