The tune and country dance directions were printed in various editions and publications of London music publisher John Walsh, such as his Third Book of the Compleat Country Dancing Master (editions of 1735 and 1749) and his Caledonian Country Dances (c. 1745). It was also entered into the music manuscript collections of Thomas Hammersley (London, 1790) and William Vickers (Northumberland, 1770).
