POLKA [29]. AKA and see "Boatsman's Dance (2)," "Rosa Lee." Irish, Polka (2/4 time). This untitled polka can be found in the large 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim musician biography:Stephen Grier. Researcher Conor Ward finds the tune to be a cognate version of the minstrel song "Rosa Lee," also appearing as "Boatsman's Dance (2)" in Kerr's Merry Melodies vol. 2 (1883). See note for "annotation:Rosa Lee" for more information.
