This minuet was printed by John Hinton in his periodical The Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure (Nov., 1750, p. 229). George II was King of England at the time of Hinton's publication, whose birthday was Oct. 30 by the old calendar, and Nov. 10th in the Gregorian calendar.
