X:1 T:Uncle Noah Jamison N:From the playing of Audley Cable (1909-1993, born Wolfe County, east Ky., lived N:much of his life in Michigan) recorded in the field in 1985 by Bruce Greene, in Fla., N:where he had retired. The tune was untitled but credited to Noah Jamison by Cable, N:although it is not known where Jamison lived. Bruce Greene referred to it as N:"Uncle Noah Jamison's Tune." N:In 1930 Cable lived with Ky. fiddler Darley Fulks in Muskegon, Michigan, where they N:worked in the oil fields (Cable was a tooldresser), but when they played together N:Fulks played the fiddle and Cable the guitar (interview tape by his neice, John Harrod N:collection Berea College JH-CT-080-A 28:00).
