GRAY BUCK [1], THE ("Boc liath nan Gobhar" or "Bochd liath na 'n Gobhar"). AKA - "The Grey Buck." AKA and see "Boc Liath Nan Gobhar," "Drive the Cows Home," "Maids of Kintail," "Lass of Kintail," "Loving Black Lad (The)," "Wedding Night (The)" (Cape Breton). Scottish, Pipe Jig (6/8 time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Neill prints the jig as "Drive the Cows Home." Cape Breton fiddlers have recorded it under that title, as well as "The Wedding Night" and "The Grey Buck."
