BILL CRAWFORD'S FIDDLE. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuing (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by the popular Troy, Cape Breton, fiddler and step dancer Natalie MacMaster (b. 1972), grand-niece of master fiddler Buddy MacMaster. The is named for her French fiddle made in 1927 by Marc LaBerte. It was given to her by accordionist Bill Burnett of Barrie, Ontario, and belonged to Bill Crawford.
