BELFAST POLKA. Scottish, Irish; Polka. C Major ('A' part) & G Major ('B' and 'C' part) {Kerr}: G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part) {Breathnach}. Standard tuning. AABB {Breathnach}: AABBCC (Trio) {Kerr}. The name Belfast means 'crossing place by a sandbank'. Breathnach's two part polka is a distanced version to the three part tune in Kerr.
