Barnes (English Country Dance Tunes), 1986. The title is taken from the comic opera The Accomplished Maid (1767), by Italian dramatist Carlo Goldoni, with music by Niccolò Piccinni. It was performed in Covent Garden. Nathaniel Gow transformed it (with minimal changes) into the jig "Grace Hay's Delight," by which title it is well-known in Scottish Country Dance repertoire.
