Roose MS, Manchester 1850 Z:Village Music Project 2019 Eric Conrad M:3/8 R:waltz Q:3/8=45 L:1/16 K:F N:The C part is a variant of the usual tune for "Don't put your muck/trash in my dustbin/backyard; N:my dustbin's/backyard's full." N: N:The tune is appears elsewhere with the title Cupid's Waltz, often starting with the C part. N: N:From 1875-1887, William Duncan Cubitt was a dealer in London of musical instruments made to his N:own specifications. His clarinets were apparently prized. N: N:The title probably does not refer to the unit of measure (cubit), but could refer N:to a musical member of the Cubitt family. W:see also: "Cupid's Waltz" (FTB.070) in Fiddler's Tune Book 1.
