WHEN THE LEAVES BEGIN TO TURN BROWN. AKA "When the Leaves Turn Brown," "When The Leaves Turn Brown Again." American, Song Tune (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Silberberg): ABB (Phillips). The tune was popularized by fiddler Tommy Jackson [1] (1926-1979), whose repertoire and playing spanned both old-time and bluegrass genres.
